JD Swanguen interviews Bryn Atkinson before practice on Saturday morning. Bryn suffered a nasty crash in practice and broke both his femur and his arm. We're all wishing him good thoughts and hope he heals up quick.
Mary Moncorge of the Santa Cruz Alliance also took a serious crash in the same spot Bryn went down. She fell at high speed on her last practice run and a rock slab caught her under the front of her helmet, splitting her chin and mouth badly. She was discharged last night with several stitches and we wish her a speedy recovery as well.
Aaron Gwin had these custom XTR brakes with saint calipers installed on Saturday morning to use for practice and qualifying.
