only the whit bike is hard tail, the blue one is DS. It's not the bike anyway, it is the rider, although learning on a hard tail certainly has its advantages.
3 hardtails, never owned a dual suspension, def thinking about it tho. you can FR and DH better than most noobs with a DH bike on a hardtail if you practice.
And you can FR DH AND XC better on a full suspension, than most noobs on hard tails if you practice. hardtail= better for learning technique!. FS= the way to go after you have have enough technique!.
I had the pleasure of working with Roger in 2006 and 2007 on the WC and while it is an overused term - he really is an ambassador for the sport of MTB and cycling in general. He always approached his work so professionally and I could not speak highly enough about just how nice a guy he is. I have not seen many other riders who were as calm on the bike as he always seemed to be - it was like he was born on one and looked uncomfortable without it.
I really hope that like so many other WC riders, retirement still sees him strap on a race number and slipping in some Enduro rides as I think he would transfer across really well to this discipline. All the best to you and your young family, Roger, and super stoked to see you 'leave' the sport as a champion - you deserve it!
One cool video I wonder how many times A DAY does he ride this track And it's perfect video to show what we really look like on the train and what we Think we look like out riding
BMC is the best bike around everyone should at least ride one so they can see what they are missing, its bummer to lose such a great athlete on the program
ive always wanted to have a 4x bike there so agile annd responsive ,but as my only bike ,because i dont have the money for 2 bikes, it woudl limit my riding, but i love 4x and the uncuestionable style and fluidity it gives you one youve ridden for years
Prokop and Rinderknecht on 29? I never saw a pic of either of them on trail bike and they even got a 29er? 4x on 29? Lopes wrote once that he hates them but acknowledges the advantage, he just likes winning too much
That's what he wrote to Lee McCormack... whatever, he said she said, he heard she heard I envy you to ride with Lopes! I'd love to meet him as a person and see him ride. i'd like to see the "depth"
Hes a great guy, everybody thinks him to be this cocky douche but hes really not. He always has ten seconds on me on every trail and despite my name i race super d and enduro so he us ridiculously fast.
You right the people wasn´t look the real meaning of the video.. This is not about a kind of bike, it´s about a history of a rider guys!!, its about his passion.
