Ray's MTB Indoor bike park in Cleveland Ohio is about to open its door for the fall/winter season! Just got some pics sent over of how things are coming along and the all new Pinkbike.com jump! That's right, we've got a jump at Ray's!
cotridz89 you dont want to live there. but honestly i wish they would start making more indoor bike parks in cadada. oh we have the air dome but not every one wants to drive to whistler every time they want to use a foam pit!
I'd love to help you guys build, but I dont have the money or time to drive someplace that is a 6 hour round trip for me. Plus, I actually was there one day that it looked like you all were going to be building, but in reality, no one was there.
We were there half of the day on Aug 16 and the entire day on the 17th. I'm trying to remember if camping is allowed, but I guess minors aren't supposed to ride without a guardian. . . Once racing starts back up at Mid-Ohio next year, I might do a road race/mountain bike weekend with some friends as the Knob is only an hour from Lexington.
wow seems no matter where you live everyone complains about lack of riding.. i suggest everyone get together with their friends and we build a mass system of trails including fr and dj along with a indoor park in everymajor city
I have been to Ryas many times and it gets better every year! if you are in Cleveland check out Melt Bar and Grill. the portions are huge, the beer is fantastic and the staff are great. I can't wait for the Ray's Bro trip this year.
i live 25 minutes away from Rays. its absolutely amazing every year. I'm amped to see how well the new changes will ride. I will, however, miss a few things like the redbull box.
Rays is the best thing about Cleveland. The rest of it is SUPER GHETTO. I did eat at a great bar last time i was there. dont remeber the name but had like 100 different beers on tap.
Go live in Belgium , then you can complain. The closest bikepark to Antwerp ( where I live) is 350km's away from my place. We dont have any nice indoor/outdoor parks cause they are build for skaters. The longest downhill track is about 800meters and even they suck balls. We dont have any elevators over here so its all walking/shutteling.
If you say your place sucks : Make a roadtrip in Belgium / Netherlands and THEN you can complain.
I've got something like this in my neck of the woods. Well, maybe not as cool as that, but you can still make do with it. They charge you to get in and all.
Is there anything like this in the UK? You guys in America and Canida are soo lucky to have facilitys like this. Looks sick mind, especially the bridge
"why cant i live in ohio..." well why dont we bring this to us on the west coast?? we should build something like this! we can do it just like they did on the canondale project
Thats right, but sometimes its so warm that we really need some indoor spots in order to get some shadow haha, furthermore nobody do any kind of spots, the only ones that we have are the ones that we the riders build XD
yeah you live have ass near whilstler, you have the damn air dome, people in b.c can not complain about lack of riding spots. even people in alberta can not complain as much due to the fact we have COP and rabbit hill
I want one
