Riders got a first real chance to session the quarter pipe in the drop zone today.

Some of the photographers including Lars and Christoph had troubles getting access to the course today, that's all been fixed for tomorrow's main event though. Zink and Semenuk getting comfortable on the quarter with some height and some style...

  Tomorrow's Schedule...

Other highlight tricks: Anthony Messere!! His training session was straight air - flip - double flip on the third hit, he didn't get it to dirt though. His first try during practice was a bit under rotated, his second try during Best Trick was landed but very sketchy with slipped pedals. Lance McDermott looked really good as well, he pulled some really nice front flips. The drop will see some great action tomorrow, the riders looked pretty comfortable with it today!!

In what world does a superflip beat a super frontflip? thats just wrong...

I have no idea why, but the judges know their stuff. I'm going to bet Andreu's super flip was a million times bigger than Cam's front super.

andreu did the superflip on the bigger jump. cam "only" jumped the smaller one

ya thats sick! i guess the "awesome" factor is as big a part of the judging as the difficulty factor, and imo thats the way it should be. I'd take as Super sick, super dumped 3 over a tight and sketchy 720 any day

They need to give the pinkbike photographers proper media access, so they aren't taking pictures of fences and other peoples lights....!

Double BACK flip... please call it as it is and with that said, that is insane that he's one of a few throwing those! Maybe he'll kick the other riders into gear to step it up because the young talent is coming to dominate! And Ithose jumps are so massive... wow.
