Video: Role Reversal

Video shoots rarely go to plan. Factors like weather, transport and mechanical issues are a few of the things we encountered. The plan was to shoot a video in the weeks leading up to Christmas, while everything was surprisingly dry. Of course, this didn’t happen, so 3 weeks later than planned we headed over to the local trails to see what state they were in after the gale force winds and heavy rain. The trails were covered in a thick layer of tacky mud, with up-rooted trees blocking some of the more advanced and technical trails, meaning that some of our plans were already out of the window.


The vague plan was for both of us to shoot and ride in the video, nothing serious, just trail bikes and a laugh. Bad weather and short days meant we couldn’t spend as much time as we would have hoped to on shooting and riding. In the end we made do with what we had and smashed out this little edit.
