 I agree with you on the classic rock tune but stairway seems a bit of a stretch. I can't seem to pin it down though.

 from like 2:00 on there are riffs and the vocals that remind me of RHCP, dunno if that's classic enough for ya

 Stairway to Heaven and Last Dance With Mary Jane were songs I had thought of, but had kind of precluded them, thinking there was something more obvious that I was missing. Pieters reference to The Animals song House of the Rising Sun also has some merit.

 This may be getting to far down into the weeds but stairway and the Keys song have very similar chord progressions. Maybe that's why. Anyway, its a sick song for a sick edit. So stoked on it!

 The second I heard this song, I knew I would hear it again on Pinkbike. It was also used on the video for the Giant video contest where the guy with the supermarket bike won a Glory 0.

 Retallack seems like one of best riding locations ever, BUT the videos these days are so unoriginal - the black keys, some slow mo of skids that are in focus for less than a second. Plus the usual intro and outro.

 I somewhat understand where you are coming from but i don't think a video doesn't have to be original to be good. I just love how powerful this video is. The overall vibe of this video just reeks of the Black Keys and how I perceive Mountain Biking to really be.

 An unoriginal formula doesn't detract from the actual edit... and I hate long intros mind you. I just skip to the riding which was tight in this edit. I'm stoked someone used this song because it worked so well in TSP's film this year and it fit this edit really well. Saying its the best on pinkbike is a bit of a stretch, haha, but this was quite the edit to wake up to! Awesome job. Retallack looks amazing as usual.

Nageln season is starting up around these parts pretty quick, but I'm not sure the Retallack Rules are the way to go. Takes far too long with their version. I gotta introduce those boys to the Okanagan Rules, see if I can be a bad influence on 'em.

 he means you dont post on pinkbike saying "follow me on pinkbike". The only time "follow me" should be used is when you are showing a friend a new or creative gnarly line.
