Just got back from what was the best weekend of riding in my life! We were able to get through Lorna in 8.5 hours of saddle time, few breaks and a lot of water stops. The next day we pedaled up and did Lick creek, amazing again, the new addition at the end after the clearcut was awesome too! Top it off with a moto ride back over the Hurley into Pemberton, icing on the cake.

Any up to date info on the Shulaps Traverse? We have a big group riding it this Saturday. I see on the report there is lots of blow-down along Brett creek.Any info would be helpful.
Tahnks.

This is awesome, any sources on the web about how to actually get to those trails? We are doing a biking road trip in August and this looks like just the kind of stuff I wanna ride.

There's very little stuff on the web other than by running a google search under "Chilcotin bike" where you'll find most of the trip reports written by myself. But all of these require decent map reading skills. Get the TrailVentures map of the area and poke around. If in doubt hire a guide at least for your first trip - www.tyaxair.com should be your point of contact. Enjoy

Which one did matt hunter ride in the "Matt hunter- the lone wolf" edit
  • 2 0
stinky - he got a drop on Warner Lake and rode Warner - Trigger- Hummingbird then out via the Gun Creek Meadows. It's about a six hour day trip although Matt did it with much more style self-supported. There are quite a few variations in that area that can make it multiday.

Thanks for the info Lee. I've been wanting to do that trip since I saw his video, and your multi-day reviews.

And I'm going to take this time to say you've got some of the best reviews/writeups in the business!
