Can you get better than this?
Checkout the first pictures of Steve Peats 2012 Carbon V10 dripping with Shimano and Fox components. This bike is on display to trade and press only over the next few days at Ice Bike, Madison's trade show. Madison are the U.K distributor for Shimano and unless you have been living in a cave over the past month you will know that the Santacruz Syndicate have jumped ship from SRAM to Shimano and Fox for 2012.
Fresh back from suspension testing this bike was dusted off and put on display and never even had chance to have the chain lubed up.
Truvativ out and Shimano Saint comes in. If you names Steve Peat you can spin a 38t no sweat.
The signature Peaty Lizard Skin grips are always a good give away as to which Syndicate bike is hanging up. Checkout those Enve bars, smoking!
After almost 15years on Boxxers, how will Peaty get on with the Fox 40's in 2012?
That seats a bit high for me Steve..
Plenty of speculation of why this historic change of components. Our thoughts are this decision went down to OEM agreements as we know that most Santacruz complete bikes were shipped fitted with Shimano and Fox. Whilst the Syndicate team were sponsored by SRAM (Truvativ, Avid, Rockshox and SRAM).
