Rocky Mountain Bicycles Presents: Sugoi Dirt Series Women’s Mountain Bike Camp in North Vancouver August 5-6, 2006

The Sugoi Dirt Series Mountain Bike Camp is returning to the land of plenty . . . plenty of great trails, that is! North Vancouver is a world-class destination for mountain bike enthusiasts, and on the first weekend in August, the Dirt Series’ star-studded cast of instructors will bring their own world-renowned instructional skills to the Shore.This is a perfect opportunity for women who have dreamt of riding the legendary trails with more skill and confidence. Every year the Sugoi Dirt Series helps nearly a thousand participants add solid fundamentals, new tricks, polished technique, and improved trail awareness to their riding, and find more fun on their bikes in the process.

The diverse camp schedule makes it possible for beginner to advanced riders to learn and progress through the weekend. The mornings include isolated skills sessions where participants can safely learn and practice new techniques, followed by afternoon rides where these new accomplishments can be put to the test and applied to real situations on the trail.

John Henry Bikes will be host to this weekend of incredible outdoor adventure, providing bike fit opportunities, maintenance clinics, food and drinks on Saturday evening, as well as logistical support along the way. Taylor’s Crossing and Cobb’s bread will also be teaming up to keep the participants going throughout the camp by providing lunches on both weekend days. Other sponsors ensure that every girl goes home with exceptional prizes and product info to give them the inside edge in mountain bike trends and fashion.


The Sugoi Dirt Series includes fifteen unique weekend camps from April through September. This is the last opportunity this season to take a camp in North Vancouver. Prompt registration is encouraged since limited entry numbers are designed to ensure that each participant gets plenty of individual attention, and the Dirt Series is able to leave its trademark inspiration, friendship, and excitement in its wake.
