The events team at Sun Peaks Resort had so much fun hosting this event last year, we decided to do it again! The Second Annual MackDaddy’s High Roller Event takes place in the Bike Park this Saturday, August 12th.

To participate in this fun event simple, all you have to do is show up at the Sun Peaks Bike Park this Saturday, between 11am and 4pm. Purchase your lift ticket and grab yourself a roller card at the MackDaddy’s DJ booth at the bottom of the Sunburst Chair. Explore the trails in the Bike Park to find the roller stations located around the slopes. At each station roll the dice, get your card recorded, stamped, and hand it in at the end of the day for a chance a tons of swag from the Sun Peaks Bike Park sponsors.Marzocchi Canada, Gazza Tires, Helly Hansen, DaKine, and Race Face have all come on board with some great prizes, as well Shark Energy Drink is going to be on site providing some free samples. This is going to make over $2,500 worth of bike parts, and clothing, including the grand prize Bomber 888VF2 triple crown fork.

“The MackDaddy’s High Roller is a great event for all levels of riders,” states Greg Govett, Sun Peaks Events Coordinator. “All the roller stations are going to be set up in locations anyone can access, so the odds of winning big are more wide open than the barn door.”

This year local bike shops Full Boar, The Bicycle Café, and T2R are going to set up and show off their stuff to see who can build the coolest roller station. Votes for the best roller station can be submitted at either of the two awards ceremonies. With the first chances to win happening at 4:00pm at the MackDaddy’s DJ booth located at the bottom of the Sunburst Express, and the second chance to win happening at 9:30pm in Club MackDaddy’s (must be at least 19 to attend the second awards).
