Video: Sun's Out, Guns Out - James Doerfling

Jan 16, 2014
by Tyler Maine

James Doerfling has made a name for himself as a mountain biker who knows how to handle real mountains. Growing up in Williams Lake, British Columbia he came to know the forests and mountains around him through biking and hunting better than most people know their own backyards. Now James is taking us back to some of his old haunts around Williams Lake and Farwell Canyon to show us the most majestic trails and ridge lines. James make them all look like a Sunday afternoon jaunt, but we have a feeling they are anything but.

Not afraid to say to say it again. It's better waking up to James Doerfling than my girlfriend. Such a sweet edit and song choice.

That shot when the music was real slow and he had total control of his tabletop in mid air, that was awesome too.

 I don't think James is a vegan.

Just an amazing video. Beautiful work with the lighting and wide angle. Even Wifey loved it. You guys have talent. Keep pushing! The opening shot set the spooky feeling. That ridge run was freaking killer. The music was right. Damn good job. Cheers.

 Got a Flinger!

Flinger:

noun
When James Doerfling sending it makes you erect.

Example
I got a Flinger that could bust the seams on a pair of Levi's.

I will never get tired of this video. Ever. It's just so calming and I just can't wait to go rip my trail bike around on XC trails in the fall when I watch it. (Sorry, that's all I got to ride!)
