The
Teva Best Trick bike competition is presented by Thule and will take place at the inaugural Winter Teva Mountain Games on Saturday evening February 11th, at 6:30pm MST. The winner will be selected from a first run best trick followed by an open jam session. Judges will also be awarding “random acts of radness” throughout the event.
| The premiere and most spectator friendly event we have lined up is the Teva Best Trick. This is going to be a nighttime event taking place on a 40-50 foot jump, similar to what you would see snowboarders hitting. These guys will be throwing down their hardest tricks battling it out for $10,000 - Jeff Lenosky, Teva athlete, course designer and judge |
Other bike events taking place during the weekend include:
-
Teva Dual Slalom Downhill an all-out speed descent on Vail Mountain's Golden Peak, with a $5,000 US cash purse
-
Teva On-Snow Bike Crit presented by Thule, a short-course format that covers the lower portions of Vail Mountain, with a $4,000 US cash purse.
Last I recall, he was held together with duct tape an popsicle sticks, and he was killing it. It should be interesting to see him ride.
