Quiet. Focused. Solid. These three adjectives describe Adison MacDonald and his riding perfectly. Growing up in Whistler, Adison, along with his peers, has the opportunity to ride the world famous Sea to Sky corridor year-round. With the North Shore, Squamish, and the Whistler Bike Park at his disposal, one could say that Addy's style is a product of his environment. But whilst his friends party, hang out at the 7-11, and lap A-Line over and over, Adison has been working his craft. At just 15 years old he's one of Whistler's top riders, with a fluid style that's unmatched by anyone his age.
For 2013, Adison decided to break the norm and focus on filming for an online web series. The series will showcase a variety of different riding styles and locations in the Sea to Sky corridor and will feature Adison shredding on his Race Face equipped Banshee Legend, Spitfire, Amp & Rampant.
For our first episode, Adison rode his Banshee Rampant on some flowy trails in North Vancouver and in Squamish, as well as hitting some dirt jumps in North Vancouver. Unfortunately, just as he was getting warmed up we had to stop filming after Adison crashed and separated his right shoulder. It was a harsh fall, but Addy will be back in no time to film the second episode in Whistler.
Stay tuned for more updates from 'The Endless Weekend'.
