 @vps13 if you come to europe you got to hit chatel (or the whole portes du soleil area, severel bikeparks with one ticket but chatel is the biggest) and hafjell... Apparently bikepark ore in sweden is at least as nice as hafjell. People told me. For me Hafjell is one of the best i have ever been. Just came home from a full week there...had a blast. Met a guy there he said whistler is still the best though. Havent been to leogang but apparently it is not so special when you know others.

 I love Claudios course previews but there is definitely room for Peatycam! That was brilliant two mates having a blast. Best of luck Peaty and Ratboy!

 How the hell did peaty know there was mud on the lens ! And the track builders there baffle me , they spend all this time smoothing shit out , removing roots and such but then make really wank rock gardens , if you want it gnarly just leave it natural !

 It's easy to tell. If you remember it's there then you know it's going to be seeing the same as your goggles. My most recent fort William run I wanted to pull a tear off so wiped my gopro for good measure

 just dawned on me remember watching movies like chain reaction and other DH race movies and they could only film 100 foot sections of race. Hoh boy what gopro has done for a sport like this!

 Sucks Minnaar and Hill suffered knee injuries and won't be competing - I was hoping for the win from Minnaar. Can't remember the last time Greg didn't race a WC event.

 Hill was down as a DNF for qualis, whilst Minnaar was a DNS, so Hill may have just rolled out the start hut to get into the finals. We may still see him but he'll be carrying an injury.

 Can someone explain to me how the DH world cup works? I thought Minnaar was the world champ, so why are they still racing?

 It's weird - The World Champs race (this year it wes Pietermaritzburg SA) is a single race event - that's it - win it and you are "World Champ" It's a title is really all it is - you get to call yourself World Champ. The World Cup is the series - the winner is the one with the highest overall pts. - This is the last WC race, down the to the wire with Gee and Stevie. The World Cup winner really is the rightful world champ - he/she was the most consitent throughout The racers know this - but World Champs are fun for the bragging rights - But I'm with you - I say the World Champ race should be after the World Cup races are done.

 I think they do Friday if there's an XC race on Saturday. I would guess there's no XC for Leogang, so they will go on Saturday.
