One thing that goes without question, is that everybody loves to ride great trails. To get these dirt jumps up and running, there has to be some dedicated riders and builders out there who are willing to put in the time and effort to get them ridable and maintain them.
I spent a chunk of the day today with Christian Wright and Caleb Holbrook out at Fallen Oaks digging and got some shots of them riding. One of Christians favorite things to do besides riding is, you guessed it, dig. Christian truly believes digging makes you a better rider, and it goes to show with his talent and progression.
He and Caleb can both agree that when you work on the jumps and maintain them, you know them better and it gives you that much more of an advantage while riding.
You don't have to go and spend an entire day out digging and working on your trail, just an hour or two to keep things in good shape. A big shout out to everybody that keeps Fallen Oaks going, and thanks to every single builder out there.
Christian wants to give a big thanks to his sponsors; Specialized, Sram, Enve, Troy Lee Designs, Novatec, Five Ten, Smith Optics, and The Sensus.
And a huge thank you to The Sensus for helping out Caleb.
