The latest instalment of the In Pursuit series from Trek World Racing has been released today. Entitled "Downhiller In Dalby" the video shows the performance of the Men's XC riders at the 2nd round of the UCI World Cup in Dalby Forest (GBR) while also following Tracy Moseley's participation in the Women's XC World Cup. This is the first time since Juliana Furtado in 1993, that a reigning Women's Downhill World Champion has raced and scored points in a Women's XC World Cup.
Hard core? Hardly, too much flat dirt road biking - few tech sections - make it real tech with little flat spots and no pulling over to change out your wheels! If that happens, then that'll be the death of the hardtail - but too many guys would complain "It's too rough!"
Wow that is a sad statement to hear, actually PB is about biking, XC very much included. Try to get off that DH rig one day and go for a pedal on an XC or AM bike, you may be surprised when you find out it's tough and really fun too.
Exactly. and all of the top downhillers train xc and even road riding in the off season. being in shape will make you alot faster downhill than you'd think.
Im a Dalby local, and like my dh as much as my xc, in fact have ridden a hell of a lot of dh in europe, and the uk, including fort william, well known for its technicality, and so mr svdhrider, i would invite you to come to dalby and try ride it, then say its 'sissy'
And as someone else has said, all dh riders ride xc too, I was riding xc with lopes on the saturday and he was saying he rides more road bikes than anything when hes not racing. nuff said.
It's not like it said you would be watching a DH race in Dalby is it.
Downhiller = Tracy Moseley
in Dalby= well that is where she was..
Dumb ass's
and is it just me or is xc getting more hard core?
kinda
