ukbikepark/torico - Race series Round 2

On the weekend of the 28th and 29th of July, mountain bikes from all over the south west of England will be competing in the second round of the Ukbikepark/ Torico Downhill mountain bike race series. A new course has been made specifically for the event at the Ukbikepark venue near Blandford Forum.With a winning time thought to be around the 1 minute 40 second. The track has over 400 feet of altitude drop and has a mixture of technical rooty sections, berms, rock sections and plenty of opportunities to get your wheels off the ground. The event is open to all. There is a practice day on the Saturday, £15 for Ukbikepark members and £20 for all others .This includes all your transportation to the top of the track in the ukbikepark army vehicles! Camping is available on the Saturday night with on site toilets, BBQ with local quality produce and some Djs spinning their wares in the evening.

Norco Bicycles will also be present with a few of their demo bikes as well as Demo bikes from Torico ( local bike shop) who are part sponsoring the event. Torico will also be available with spares and accessories as well as giving a helping hand with any mechanical troubles that riders may face.

Practice and sign on starts from 8.00am on Sunday with racing starting at midday. The timing is being provided by Dirt racing who will be in attendance with their Tag Heuer equipment . Prizes have been donated by scratchuk, torico and Ukbikepark
