| Gwin was on fire as usual, second at split one, first at the second split, but then he went down in the last corner, just before the ski jumps. Word is that he's injured but it's minor, and he'll probably be able to race on Sunday |

| Cameron Cole won the qualifying round by 0.096. Less then half of a second between him and Gee in fourth! Throw in a few other fast riders such as Stevie and Sam that flatted, as well as Gwin that crashed, and Sunday could be an interesting race. |
