I hate this episode for being black & white. If you want to show a not sunny part of our sport just show it. The snow and the mud can be beautiful as well. At least in a video

In shitty weather condition, black and white usually renders way better than color (that applies for photo too).

pretty cool video , shows even getting out in the bad weather is still fun,, and the scenery my physio my doctor and friends keep telling me im too old for stuff at 41 now but man i need to ride in scenery like that before im in a box ..

Nothing but respect for Clementz and his speed and skill. After all he crushed the EWS this year. But watching him ride is, well, strange. This video - with a few seconds of exception - does not make him look particularly smooth, or technical, or precise, or showcase amazing bike handling skills. It does show him laying down some mad pedal strokes - once coming out of the drifty corner, and once along the single-track. Is that his biggest asset in the EWS? What makes this guy so fast?

On another note, I liked the black and white and Pauline's ride.

It seems you can't distinguish some top notch riding from average... "does not make him look particularly smooth, or technical, or precise, or showcase amazing bike handling skills" Are you joking?? That's exactly what is portrayed in his riding videos!
Jerome has to be the smoothest rider out there, at least in the Enduro world, AND he's got the top notch xc fitness. His riding reminds me of Stevie Smith, both look like they make their bikes float through the course, effortless. And to do that, you MUST be smooth, technical, precise, and obviously have great handling skills. Cheers Jerome!

Wow. I'm not saying that JC isn't all of those things and more, I just don't see it in THIS video. And, he looks nothing like Steve Smith in THIS video. I see several over done steering inputs that have to be corrected in corners in THIS video. My comment was never meant to demean JC, it was more of a genuine "what is his secret?" post.
TBF, after my quick post I went back and watched several of the earlier 12 months / 12 stories videos where his talents are much more obviously showcased. I guess I should have come back and deleted my original comment but honestly, I still think that THIS video does not do a good job of showcasing JC's skill.

I was also about to say that in the past episodes his skills are much better showcased, especially the one in the US.! You got to take into consideration that he is hitting many of these trails for the first time when filmed, blind pretty much. I guess that THIS vid. is not the best of the episodes. Too much black and white maybe.
