Video: George Brannigan Gets Loose in Queenstown

Feb 20, 2020
by PROPAIN-Bicycles

At the moment most bike parks, unfortunately, are closed and for a winter break. At least this is the case here in Europe. On the other side of the world, however, the situation is quite different. In New Zealand it’s high season and the newest member of our Propain Factory Racing Team, George Brannigan, shows us how he spends the summer.

For this edit, we gave George Brannigan our new Tyee and set him loose upon his usual habitat of Queenstown.

Queenstown offers everything you need to have fun with the Tyee, from steep downhills with fat jumps to flowy trails and breathtaking scenery. With crazy speed and the typical Brannigan Style, the DH World Cup racer shows that he is visibly comfortable on our enduro bike.

Brannigan's riding's as good to watch as ever, but the edit sooomewhat pales against the memories that Brannigan and Queenstown trigger: vimeo.com/122842529

Yes! That one never gets old! Smile

Also. George, I hope your collarbone is strong and good finally, and it won't give you any more problems. But in case (knock on wood) it does, we'll just have to 3D-print a new one for you, no worries!

@chacou: Thanks for the tip, it actually syncs almost perfectly! The video just needs to be 30 seconds longer.

Guess a lot of edits nowadays are much more geared towards advertisement. Need to be mass compatible, hence the tame tunes. Can't think of an example though, where these riding-ads made me wanna go ride. Im sure there are some, but what I really seem to remember is the authentic shredits, the ones that get your blood going!!!

To be fair he's a huge expense for Propain so they need him to sell some trail bikes. That being said. Propain, please give us a big bike heavy metal shredit next.

Make Motorhead Loud Again?

They used the wrong song, obviously if you make Queenstown edit you have to use Running wild.

Why did they have to use that song

Agree but Seems to be a trend unfortunately, beyond bizarre to use such low tempo tunes......
