WHISTLER | Double the fun.

This summer, I was lucky enough to adventure out to the best bike park in the world, Whistler, B.C. It was my fourth time in Whistler, but my first time actually spending heaps of time there. I left Montreal the 18th of May and my flight back was booked for the 31st of August, I had a little less than 4 months to ride my bike as much as possible. So I left with bike box and suit case under my arms and my camera bag on my back. Soon enough, I found myself hanging out with a bunch of Australians, and if you have ever been to this biking paradis, you know that there are a lot of them!

Cam A.K.A "Slayer" was the first one I knew out there. He showed me around and got me into the locals life style, which consisted in riding downhill, hitting up Zog's for an afternoon poutine and then heading to the lake to wash of our dirt tanned legs. Between the smack we would talk on the chair lift rides up, we got the idea to try and get a video out for the Go Pro Dirt Diaries video competition that was happening in Whistler during crankworxs. So we headed out with our other buddy G-Banger to get something wicked together. Even though we were pretty badly organized, we managed to get a few clips out of our day of filming. We didn't have enough footage to make a teaser for the video contest so we needed to head back out. The only problem was that I was starting a filming contract on the Blackcomb glacier in a few days so I wouldn't have time to film with them in the bike park.

After 2 weeks of foggy glacier runs, it was time to get back on the bike. We all got so caught up with our riding that we forgot to film what we needed for the teaser. Finally time runed out and we had missed the dead line... We were bummed but I managed to still put something together as a small edit for everyones viewing experience.

Taking a break while filming

G-Banger and Slayer ride the best bike park in the world, throwing in a few sneaky lines and showing how things go down on a daily bases.
