I think i forgot sometimes how BIG your balls have to be to spend 3 weeks in that environment AND shred HUGE gaps + mountains. Not to mention the fact that some of the stuff they are riding has never been ridden before - so you when you get there, you don't even know if its possible. Huge props to these guys. Awesome job.
the photography is amazing, so sharp and beautiful, yes, its all about the riding but some of these shots would have National Geographic weeping with envy - pretty amazing stuff all round but it needs and deserves a bigger audience. here in the UK many places have outdoor cinemas within the forest and woods, a movie like this would just be perfect
Everybody in that crew is a superstar, not just the riders. If the behind the scenes was that epic, you know the main event is going to be beyond words.
That's just epic. Never appreciated how much goes into a film like this and the extra perspectives included in this movie go the extra mile to show you just how absolutely RAD the riding, locations and people who made it possible are. This one will be added to the DVD shelf for sure!
i almost just cried.... but seriously.. thats amazing.. the way they went about making it a doc. style. couldnt be better.. cause like dude said.. all you ever seen in films is the landed tricks n high fives.. but you never get the emotions with failures and such. ill def be buying a copy as soon as i can
@#%&*£§ .. Can't watch the video with my super-mega-smartcrapphone!! I just read the comments that it is awesome and now i have to wait till i get home to watch it on my PC. Can't wait for it!! Sh** Mobile Crap!!
I'm so sick of a*sholes complaining about the film. What these guys are trying to do is bring back adventure to the sport where almost 95% of videos we see come from USA, Canada and the richer european countries. These guys tried to take mtb to new corners of the earth, places that open our small little worlds that revolve around canada, usa and europe. Adventure is the point of the video, and it is the main reason i love mtb. MTB is more than going to your local track to ride the same trails over and over again, it is about leaving your comfort zone and traveling and seeing new things and new experiences, which very few videos and people on pinkbike seem to do. If your not learning and changing from new experiences and new places well then you are just getting ready to die. I'm not against constructive critism but stop complaining about a video unless you can do better (which excludes 99.9% of u).
This is live, traveling with friends and hits the biggest spots on the world, for me is a dream so remains for me only watching films like Where the trail end.
Freeride Entertainment put a piece in Decline magazine in 2004 that there was nowhere new in Utah left to film. So to say that 8 years later is bogus. I'm pretty excited to see the riding in this film, but something tells me it's going to be half talking/lifestyle shots, half riding. And half the riding is going to be done in Utah, half everywhere else. NWD11 but with more talking.
I think is the claw of berrencloth
