On Wednesday, July 18th during the Phat Wednesday race at the Whistler Bike Park we stopped 24 riders and asked them why they like their bikes. Here are those riders, their bikes and what they had to say:

 Cool article. We all love are bikes for different reasons. Different styles, loyalties and $$$. However, the main point is we love our bikes. So you havent in a while, go tell you bike you love it.

 I love my bike because I grew up poor and couldn't afford one. One of my wealthier friends got a stinky in 6th grade and let me ride it. It was the coolest thing I had ever sat on. When I got older I joined the USAF and got paid a whole bunch of money. You know the first thing I bought? Kona Stinky 6! My bike IS my childhood dream and lets me ride the way I have always wanted. Smile

 I love my bike cause he's born in Canada, is pretty stiff and can do anything. It's made for nortshore, slopestyle, mini DH, enduro... Just everything you can do on a bike!! And like it has been said before, My bike makes me smile every time i saw it... And finally, the brazilian girl...just woaw!

 Not true! The shop I worked at we had GT! Awesome bikes... the representative for our area sucks though! 3 months to get in a bike! Our other brand KHS only takes 4 days!

 just back from 9 days in whis and never saw one GT either brule. they are not popular up here. unforch it appears that pajamas are popular up here. i'd hasten to say that giants, v10's and the sesh are the most ubiquitous bikes i saw in whistler.
