Best under the radar "pit' space score since Harry Heath's camper/pit 50 meters from the Champery World Cup DH Finish line last year; Alex Castillo from Ecuador redefines "Privateer" on the World Cup circuit in Windham, NY.
Focus begats a fine ride. Monkey Vasquez redefines that focus for the riders under his care: numbers one and one in the men's and women's elite Downhill.
Tight on the top of Tracy Moseley's Session; she's earned her ti, no questions asked.
Windham in the right hand, Mt St Anne in the left; what a difference one race can make. George Brannigan of Devinci factory racing.
Consistency is a measure of precision. Mitch Ropelato is precision defined.
Hmmm, I wonder what line to pick... There are only two flavors here to choose from: inside and outside. Luke Strobel goes outside. But then again, he's a sucker for ruts.
Kintner dumped two numbers despite a massive off the bike at Mt St Anne. Which means she's got that "lucky number 13" plate off her bike. Look to see that number dip into single digits this week.
You want tough? Like hard man, no complaining kind of tough? Fabian Cousine broke his foot last week at Mt St Anne. His left foot. But that's not keeping him from having it ready to go full 'moto' style to salvage a good, high speed line choice.
Danny Hart was one of only a handful of riders truly flying today on track; a surprising number of the bunch were riding faster than I can hope to run, for sure, but were pretty much 'just cruising'.
MS-Evil's Luke Strobel getting a bit buck wild mid track. It's a bit of a tight line: Pin it in straight, shimmy left, suck up a micro berm, and plunge into the abyss.
Your pathway to qualifying begins behind door number one, door number two, door number 3, or door number 4?
Guess which line has Blenki's name on it?
The end of the day for a racer is the start of a pell-mell rush to get orders filled at support staff pits like SRAM's. Jon Canceliier punched the clock at 7:30 am this morning and will be here long after dinner. He offers this sage advice: "Don't be late; last minute work is on a first come, first serve basis. And beer is always welcome."
Sam Blenkinsop lives to have a damn good time and rip trails on bikes. This moment would be option number 1.
For those of you that haven't got internet, (how the hell are you reading this then?), Eurosport will be covering Windham so check your regional listings fellow Europeans to see when it's on!
yeah i know, but on eurosport you dont actually get to see much of the track, just the last few riders and the bottom section (most of the time) would be good for them to mix it up a bit is all.
Is there any way to watch the race online after the fact without a banner headline telling you the results, like watching it live but later? Would be so nice to watch without knowing how it all turns out. Man I wish they'd televise World Cup in North America.
would be good for them to mix it up a bit is all.
