Reigning FMB World Champion, Thomas Genon, will be present to wow the crowds.

The London Bike Show will play host to some of the world’s best dirt jumpers, as they battle it out in the Air to the Throne competition. Thirty of the world’s best riders will take part in the two-day international invitational as they compete for a share of the €10,000 prize pot. The Air to the Throne competition, which is sponsored by Visit Wales, will take place on a progressive AT3 course on 13th and 14th February, with riders using its gigantic and unique features to hone their skills and wow the watching crowds. Demos will take place through the show on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th, with the contestant to be crowned Air to the Throne champion over the weekend.

Nicolai Rogatkin backed up his break out season in 2014 by going huge here in New Zealand kicking off 2015 with a 2nd place.
Another international heavy hitter of the dirt jump and freeride world, Nicolai Rogatkin, will also be in London to challenge for the Air to the Throne.

A stellar line-up is headed up by 2015 FMB World Champion, Thomas Genon. Belgian, Genon was crowned the world's best in October at Red Bull Rampage after an impressive season. American, Nicholi Rogatkin, who finished third behind Genon in the World Championships, has also confirmed that he will be competing at the London event.

Home fans will have plenty to cheer with Brits, Sam Pilgrim and Matt Jones hoping for some partisan support. Pilgrim has been a stalwart of the sport since bursting onto the scene in 2007, and since then he has been at the top of the sport, showcasing his incredible talent. Fellow Brit Matt Jones, who first made a splash on the international scene at the tender age of 18, joins him. Now 21, Jones can boast wins in invitational events all over the world, and placed 3rd in the X-Games Red Bull Phenom last year.

Local boy, Matt Jones, will have his work cut out, but with some serious tricks in his repertoire, we're going to see some epic battles go down!

As well as the thrills and spills of the competition, lovers of dirt jumping and mountain biking will be able to see some of the latest products and tech. Some of the world’s leading manufacturers will be on hand to show their 2016 bikes, including Specialized, GT and Cannondale. The competition itself will take place over two days on the 13th and 14th, but those visiting on the Thursday and Friday should not despair, as demos and practice runs will provide a spectacular sight on both days. The demo rides will include runs from BMX riders, Ryan Taylor and Scott Hamlin. And all of the action will be accompanied by a soundtrack, provided by Kirsty Harper of Radio Shoreditch.

The London Bike Show allows visitors to see a wide range of cycling displays, exhibitions and seminars, all under one roof. The Cycle Performance Theatre gives a chance to hear some of the most famous names in cycling share their experiences while the dedicated test tracks allow those looking for a new bike to test out the latest models in a traffic free environment.

A ticket to The London Bike Show will also gain visitors entry into three other events that are running simultaneously; the Triathlon Show London powered by Honda, The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show and the London International Dive Show (Saturday & Sunday only). Tickets to The London Bike Show are available here. Adult tickets are from £15 each including booking fee, with concession tickets starting at £9.00 including booking fee, children 8 and under are free and 9-16 year olds cost £3.00 including booking fee.
