Fastest in the world and can feel the difference of 1/2 psi difference, yet has 1 side of his helmet strap rubbing accross half his ear... That would drive me nuts!
I love seeing Gwin not being Gwin and taking my appreciation to another level. It's not often you see Gwin go for the huge huck, or the nose manual down the sewer wall.
Both these guys are incredible on and off the bike and great representatives for mountain biking.
Yeah, super simple video but very nice to see the best in the world in each discipline riding side by side... They make riding on the edge look so easy because it was probably only at 70% their capacity. Great representatives for the sport and the USA.
I wonder what it would be like to meet these two up on the trails. Hi, Hello. What's up. Good. Chillin? Yea chillin. Like the trails? Umm yea. Wanna join us? Umm yea. Ok ready to go? Um no. What? Why? When will you be ready? - Never.
Don't worry and better take that opportunity. Only those who are marginally better than you may want to make you feel miserable. If the very best ask you to join, it means they are prepared to adapt to whatever is fine with you.
@vinay: yea i know. I'd be like a that super cool 10 year old kid I met in a micro bike park next to my town. "is it hard to jump that?" "eee, last time I was trying this very very steep rock, I crashed", "eee, we have same tires", "can you wheelie?"
I saw them one of the days they were riding. I was on the way out but my friends where still riding and "rode" with them. There was a couple other pros there too if I remember. They were all really cool.
A few years ago gwin said he was only in to racing for a few year unlike some of the over great riders, seeing this vid I can't see him retiring any time soon
Gwin looks so relaxed nowadays not so uptight which is good, won me over.
I am a fan of RR but his attitude at the first too rounds of EWS this year looks like he need some maturing champ or not, a Champ attitude is what you have when things aren't going well.
Still good seeing these two rip together looked like good times in the valley!!
Watching Gwin and Rude ride is like listening to the philharmonic playing. Their riding is similar to an artist's expression on a bike, the small details in their riding skills is amazing to watch!

Gwin..aka "Ginger" appears around the 2 minute mark
These two guys are just incredible!

"First time I see Gwin not on a DH bike" is what I think you meant to say.
