It's practically the business model for every SF based company. Some hipsters will buy it....Shit they wait in line for 30 mins to willingly pay $10 for a cup of coffee

Damn hipster mountain bike enthusiasts , i guess they do bring balance to the universe. My brother in law just got a 2014 Santa Cruz Heckler for a killer deal from a parent leaching-mountain resort living-earthy granola muffin. It was maintained like garbage, but cleaned up real nice!

I have a sneaking feeling that the negative propping seen here on PB is reinforcing to Acre/MW that they are doing it right (as in, being a Rapha/Outlier/Aether for the mountain bike market). Just at the right time too - as weather gets warmer and days turn longer, many Men's Fitness, Outside, Men's Health, Esquire, and other trashy bibles of male conspicious consumerism will be hawking this stuff along with $12K carbon bikes and $30K motorcycles and $90K cars.

If there were unanimous positive comments from PB, they would have to go back to the drawing board.

(disclaimer: I have an Acre bag, and its pretty good)

Seriously, a $455 dollar jacket which is a glorified wind-breaker can fcuk off. That's a new wheelset or brakes, or seat dropper and gas for a month.

The ACRE line is out of my price range but I like this style of mountain bike clothing. If this were priced more reasonably, I would have no trouble choosing this stuff over the the teal moto and enduro style stuff that is out there.

Let's think about this. Would you rather have a pair of xtr brakes? Saints maybe, Thomson dropper, XO 1 set (starting to be able to find these deals) or a hipster ski/moto jacket that breaths like a trash bag? Hmm... Tough choice!
