Being an 18-year-old kid, traveling the world, riding and racing bikes definitely is living the dream. Luckily enough, with a lot of help from my parents and my sponsors I was able to make the dream a reality in 2016. Starting my season in the South East USA racing Neko Mulally's Downhill South East series, I got up to speed quite quickly. Living just outside of Toronto, Canada I'm a bit vertically challenged and am faced with snow for a good chunk of the year. So heading down south is always a good way to start off the year for me. From then on the season was in full swing and I found myself travelling from coast to coast racing the entire Canada Cup series winning the junior overall and snagging a 3rd overall in Pro!

While I was in British Colombia I managed to get a bunch of freeriding in between races in Revelstoke and Sun Peaks. Gnarcroft was definitely a highlight.

Racing at World Cups may just be one of the best things ever as well. I had the opportunity to race Mont-Sainte-Anne and Fort William, along with being chosen to race World Champs in Val di Sole for Canada. I managed to get 13th in junior at both MSA and Ft.Bill and unfortunately had a crash in finals at Worlds. All in all, I learned a ton and am excited as ever to get back to the racing in 2017.

Crankworx Whistler was a great time too. Being able to stay with good friends and sponsor, WPL Oils, it made things extra fun. The Canadian Open was also the last stop on the Canada Cup Series. It felt super great to finish 8th in junior and have my time right there with some of the world's top riders. Just being able to freeride and explore the trails in Whistler was a great way to have fun with friends and continue to get better on the bike.

2016 has so far been the best year! Excited for more adventures and racing in 2017. Meeting new people, riding new trails and exploring the world is what it's all about. Thanks to everyone who helped me this past year.
