Ali Osgood’s love of riding comes through loud and clear – and it’s not just riding, but a genuinely upbeat outlook on life that no doubt overflows to the people around her. Ali strives to find herself lost in the woods of northern California, with good friends, whenever possible. Her passion comes from being raised in a family dedicated to sport – her mom is a triathlon coach – and that dedication is now paying itself back in spades.
Ali is eager to get other women stoked on mountain biking, hosting women’s rides after work days at Revolution Bicycle Repair in Humboldt County. However, there’s something particularly special about the fact that she gets to share the addictive pastime of mountain biking with her mom – who recently finished 5th in her first enduro race at age 60!
| To have a mom who you can not just share the trail with but share the love of mountain biking has been really special throughout my life. - Ali Osgood |
While Ali has only been riding longer travel bikes for the past few seasons, she’s made quite the splash in that time, claiming the title of US Amateur National DH Champion in 2014 on her Kona Operator. Now riding pro, she’s broadened her scope of competition from downhill into the California enduro scene on her Process 134, making a habit of stepping onto podiums with a huge smile on her face. Ali keeps the good times rolling and the results coming in – she’s always a jazz!
