BAD ASS!!! Just because other movies have come out doesn't mean that the under dog's cant show us something new. I think that a film has a lot more to show than just a rider. They all started some where! There is no better time for something then the present! Excited to see some new riders, new scenery, and what they have to offer and to see them do what we all love! GREAT EDIT PROPS!!!

Its really nice to see new locations. I've been riding since getta grip came out in 96 and since then we've had no end of utah type stuff and while the stuff their doing is amazing it seems to be let down by the fact we've seen so much of similar locations over the years. Recent years the same has happened with whistler, sooooo many awesome videos but i find it gets to the point of finding it hard to watch the vids because i just want to see somewhere different, not just amazing riding. Ridings about visiting new places and meeting new people too. It's rare i watch stuff filmed in morzine either unless it's filmed by or stars one of my mates. So yeah this could be a breath of fresh air.
(Jun 10, 2014 at 22:29)
what would this be? another collection of riding videos edited together without any connection and little story, just like Strength In Numbers?
I'll copy my comment from the video about Theo Ngubane:
I am hoping that a video/documentary producer will take notice:
""""Why don't we have documentaries made about biking that are based on stories like this kid has , where pro riders, biking fans, bike couriers, average Joes, etc, tell what riding bikes is for them, what it represents for them, why they love bikes more than their health, with the history of bicycles and biking, with riders from all the disciplines, from downhill, enduro, xc to bmx, cyclo-cross and street racing???
Not like "Strength in numbers" which had only some riding videos edited together in one big movie, without any connection with each other, with little story and almost no emotion transmitted.
I am talking about a documentary somewhere in the lines of "Why we ride" (made by motorcycle fans) which, from my opinion, is the best motorcycle documentary ever made."""""
Also, here's the trailer for Why We Ride:

After watching the old school NWD and pretty much everything by clay porter, ANT HILL stuff always falls short for me. still great to watch but doesn't evoke the same level of awe that the others do.
(Jun 11, 2014 at 4:12)
I was about to agree with you regarding the lack of storyline, then I watched the trailer for Why We Ride. You know what, I'd rather watch a train of 20 guys on DH bikes than listen to people sitting on a chair yapping on about how riding is "a bombardment of the senses", "passion", "a love affair like no other", and just generally taking themselves too seriously.
(Jun 10, 2014 at 20:40)
I say we get all of them, go for a sweet ride, pick a buds place, BBQ, some drinks and watch them all. Than go for a night ride.
(Jun 10, 2014 at 20:57)
looks good. has ALL the riding i do IN ONE..
(Jun 11, 2014 at 12:15)
That right there is why I'm spending 10 grand building my shocker. I may never be able to pull off those jams, and if I tried I'd probably bust my head or my rig, but at least it won't be the bike's fault...
(Jun 10, 2014 at 20:03)
So many great mountain bike movies recently!
(Jun 10, 2014 at 22:36)

Finally a non-enduro video from Europe. Can`t wait for the full feature, really cool camerawork too.

Not saying this wouldn't be a cool video, but this has to be the worst time to talk about a new video, with Steve Peat and Semenuk's video coming out, I can't see any of us even caring about another small movie, especially with people who you can put a "?" over their face. And again I'm not trying to downgrade anyone or their work but at this time it has to be tough to go up against those two movies
(Jun 10, 2014 at 20:28)
Couldn't agree with you more because of the fact that Rad Company was incredible and idk if I could watch anything else for the next month or so
(Jun 10, 2014 at 20:29)
Good point. This movie looks amazing actually, and there's definitely a reason for releasing it right now but from what I can see, sounds like TERRIBLE timing. I wonder if they released it last so that everyone could get a chance to see Rad Company, Won't Back Down, and then ride the MTB movie high all the way to the computer again to see this!
(Jun 10, 2014 at 20:56)
Watch Rad Comp Watch Steve Peat And I'm gonna watch the shit outa this one too....
(Jun 10, 2014 at 21:45)
I don't mind a 40 mins of FEST
(Jun 10, 2014 at 23:02)
Its good riding if there are two movies coming out with good riding all the better. I get what you're saying from a marketing point it may be drowned out a little by the fame of peaty and semenuk but still I think most riders will grab a copy of both, its still great riding regardless of whose doing it.
(Jun 11, 2014 at 2:36)
word! why not? the more mtb films, the better!
(Jun 11, 2014 at 3:24)
