Backroad Creative Presents - Among Giants.

The Pacific Northwest is undoubtedly one of the best places in the United States, if not the world, to ride a mountain bike. The mild spring temperatures coupled with the iconic backdrop of coastal rainforests drew Alex McAndrew and myself into the woods surrounding Bellingham Washington for the production of our 5th short film - Among Giants.

I like it... A proper raw video with the riding techniques making up for a horrific song. Huh... That simple.

El Diablo looks downright tame and flat. It isn't...

I know, right? It's not the drop, but the run-in just before it that's the tough part!

Well done Alex! Great riding and it's amazing to see how beat in that trail has gotten!

He should hit up some enduro's, at the tail end of the pro-grt train!

Knowing the speed I take that trail at, I had sweaty palms watching him blaze those lines. Does he even use brakes???
  • 2 0
Some say he's never heard of brakes, others say if he needed brakes he would have been born with them.

Fast and loose, Alex! Killer riding--way to represent VT!

Pure vid, gorgeous forest, great riding!

What would be really cool is if they tie in the trails the riders use to Trail Forks.

Dunno, what if someone met a cougar on the ridge that trail seems to follow?

@reverend: I see what you did there! Wink

 Awesome!

Love it, but imagine it with quiet hubs. Just my preference.
  • 4 1
Loud hubs keep the bears informed of your approach so they can get out of the way. Must work since I've yet to see bears in 26 years of riding in the woods here. It is not so efficacious around Whistler since I seem to see bears there allatime! Canadian bears have no fear of the loud hub.
