Angel Fire Bike Park: Gravity Games 2016

Angel Fire Resort home to the number one mountain bike park in the Southwest, announced its lineup of events for the annual Gravity Games, Bikes, Blues and Brews Festival starting Friday, September 2nd.  The Labor Day weekend event is meant to bring together music, a mountainside Brewfest featuring New Mexico’s top brewers and three days of mountain biking competition.

 

“We have quickly become known as the mountain biking mecca of the Southern Rocky Mountains. Over Labor Day weekend we combine our love for mountain biking with the best in live music and a Brewfest that offers our riders some of the tastiest craft beers in the state. Spending Labor Day weekend in Angel Fire is quickly becoming an annual tradition for many across the Southwest,” explained Chris Blumenstetter, special events manager, Angel Fire Resort.


The weekend of September 2-4, 2016 will include a Whip It contest, bike jousting contest, a long jump and one of Angel Fire Bike Park’s Fire 5 DH Races. All season pass holders (Gravity Pass Holders) will be entitled to free entry to this year’s Gravity Games.
