He’s been lighting up the internet for roughly a decade - and has been a superstar in the mountain bike slopestyle world for about half of that time. And the long list of contest results, sponsors, video edits and media profiles has done a really good job of hiding the fact that slopestyle veteran Anthony Messere isn’t even old enough to buy a beer in the United States, yet.

Casual observers first became acquainted with Anthony at his Red Bull Joyride debut at Crankworx Whistler, back in 2011. The 15-year-old’s breathtaking aerial amplitude seemed, to many stunned fans, to be more reminiscent of snowboarding than mountain biking. After Joyride, Messere was no longer the well-guarded secret of slopestyle insiders.

Though Anthony Messere has become a household name in the world of action sports, his signature, go-for-broke style is a constant, whether he’s in a remote part of the world, performing for fans and judges - or on his home jumps, entertaining himself and the trees.

that shameless self promotion of a couple squids doing squid shit is not even in the same galaxy as what was going on in here. go home, you're drunk. and then calling the edit "madness", oh the irony.

Dunno @MrEtnie , personally whenever i scroll down to comments section the ones I always read are the hidden ones- they're generally a good laugh. Can't say they didn't gain attention for themselves
  • 2 1
I just ate a full bag of em.

I'm just stoked to see Laroque working with Sram on such an epic series. Nothin gives me the feels like In The Know. In fact I'm going to watch them all again, starting with R dog then Connor Fearnon.

Yes, these are good SRAM commercials. Perfect product placement in each slow-mo shot.
  • 3 0
 Forgetting someone aren't we?
  • 11 1
Was anyone else hearing "Radioactive" in their mind instead of the new age soundtrack? Strikingly similar to the Strength in Numbers segment right down to the propane "track dryer". Still, incredible riding is incredible riding.
  • 3 1
i wasn't but wow that segment is nostalgic.
  • 16 4
Id rather see more maddcalfs vids personally
  • 8 2

Second that. This series is sooo well shot!
  • 6 0
doesn't anthony know that coffee stunts your growth?
  • 3 1
43 seconds before the first hit. I got about half way through it and went... man this feels like a SRAM commercial with that nice pause on the cranks. Then I saw the SRAM bit at the end and went... that makes sense. But that was like a 20 second run... I will say this though... that one table in the middle was boosted all to hell. Beast.
  • 1 0
That table was clicked eh. Sweet

Sram is doing putting out some epic videos with their "In the Know" and "Steps to the Top" videos. This was amazing, but i think my absolute favourites were Steps to the top: Finn Iles and In the Know: Curtis Robinson and Dylan Dunkerton

i thought his black chain was a belt drive. thats actually not a bad idea for a dj bike.

I'd like to see a SRAM vid with Messere and Semenuk having a style-off!
  • 2 0
The weakest "In the know" so far. This location has been here few times already. Dude has style, but nothing revolutionary.Comparing to other episodes this is mediocre .
  • 4 0
 most slow mo ever?
  • 3 1
 worth it though
  • 3 0
Kind of hard to see what he does without it for sure. He is one of my favorite riders and I'm not really that into dirt jumping but he has so much style
  • 1 0
Maaaaaannn! Mmm Mmm gotta love sram's in the know. They get me so pumped, especially Connor fearons, epic. Anthony messere; that dude knows how to boost it.
  • 2 0
One handed stair set to Starbuck! Antmess is the mode just above beast mode, nice work young man.
  • 2 0
I feel like I'm riding basically at Messere's level.....if he had a broken arm.
  • 3 0
Messere is so short lol, bet 26 feels like a 29 to him lol
  • 2 0
First!!! Nice video, but it finishes quite strangely.
