I loaded up the 4Runner 14 hours ago in the pouring rain of the lower main land and headed northeast with my fingers crossed for dryer climates. After a quick stop for eats and gas in Kamloops I was back inline for the end destination-Silver Star Resort
in Vernon BC. The weather in Vernon is leaps and bounds better than the gross drizzle back in the 'wack, now hopefully it keeps up all weekend.
The idea for today was to hike and shoot some pics of the new trail work done to Double Dog as part of the Red Bull Trail Crew Challenge
. I rolled up at about 2:30 and was told that I could actually grab my bike and hit the lift instead of hiking-hell ya that's a bonus to my day! Here's peak at what to expect this weekend from my run I got in with Shaums and Wayne from MMR.
