"Wyper is a Biker" is a web series filmed and edited by Peter Bailey of "Epic Mountain Video" put on BlackMarket bikes. Myself and Peter worked hard in the summer to put out the first of four episodes. The first episode came out great, but only contained a day of filming, and a few hours behind the computer. We all wanted to amp the second episode up, bigger moves, different locations, more friends, and a lot more work.

Oh and one big ass front flip, step down too!

Matt Hunter 2010 Recap and looking forward – Int Matt Hunter 2010 Recap and looking forward – Interview!
When I hear the name Matt Hunter, I instantly picture the landscape surrounding Kamloops B.C. being shredded at speed and crazy senders that run as closer sections in movies - bangers if you will! The surrounding landscape has shaped him as a rider, just as he's worked its contours to perfect his art on two wheels. Last weekend I went up to Kamloops to spend a few days with Matt, ride and chat about 2010 and what we can expect from him next season.

Over the course of the season, between other riders shoots I have been busy shooting my own section for Lone Wolf Productions.ca. While I love shooting and promoting the site, I felt kind of weird writing an article about myself. Luckily Dylan Sherrard stepped up to the plate and wrote an article for me! Needless to say I am very appreciative of his kind words, and also a little embarrassed by a few of them. I would also like to thank Karl Heldt for editing/filming this one, along with Florian Feise for being our photographer/filmer. I couldn’t have done this one without you guys. Now, without further ado, I hand this article off to Dylan.

Seasonaires Trailer Seasonaires Trailer
Each summer a growing number of lads and lasses come from far and wide to Whistler to live the life of bikes and bikes and bikes. It’s the dream of riding bikes that brings them, but the reality is that there are deeper reasons that keep them here. Some people come for a visit and never leave. Some come to find something specific, but end up learning something entirely different. Some come alone, some come with friends, but everyone leaves with more.

Fogelsode Season 2, #3: Zip Lines and Dry Trails Fogelsode Season 2, #3: Zip Lines and Dry Trails
I got the chance to go on a local zip line track through the redwoods a few weeks ago, and it ended up being crazy! It was a really neat experience traveling through the forest with an entirely different aspect. Iggy, Clay, Bryce, and I rode the local trails quite a bit that week, enjoying the dry conditions. It’s been dry for so long that there’s a nice thin layer of silt over the hard-pack so you can get nasty with the drifts. It can definitely get squirrely though, as we all had our close-calls. We got to bust out the hardtails later for a fun little evening sesh at Mike’s house, which was a good time mixing it up. Overall it was just another good week riding bikes with the crew!

September, the best time to ride! September, the best time to ride!
My goal for September was to ride my bike everyday. I've wanted to do that for a while now, but it's not that easy when you are working full time. The goal was to get in really good shape while having fun, as I can't stand going at the gym and pedaling on a bike that goes nowhere. It would take both of my bikes and all of my good friends to make it happen, but I was going to ride a LOT in September, or Epictember as I remember it now.

Road Trip - Smithers, Burns Lake and Terrace Briti Road Trip - Smithers, Burns Lake and Terrace British Columbia
British Columbia, Canada is vast and diverse. So vast that there are areas one doesn't even think to visit. Central BC is one of those places. One may ask with all the options for road trips why would one go to a place that is so remote? Let me tell you why. The trails are in great shape; due to the young and active mountain bike communities in the small towns the options and variety of trails is continually growing. Additionally, with the small town hospitality you will have a vacation to remember. This area should be on your list of places to visit.

My Dad once came to this area to work. He mentioned to a local how beautiful this country is; the local replied - "Ya well what good is it?" Hopefully the story below will answer this question.

Cam Zink - Post Red Bull Rampage Interview Cam Zink - Post Red Bull Rampage Interview
As Cam Zink successfully landed his second attempt at a 360 off the Oakley Icon Sender, MTB history was made at the 2010 Red Bull Rampage. So began the next chapter in perhaps one of the greatest comeback stories in freeride history.

After a daunting string of injuries throughout past seasons, Zink's 2010 comeback run started with a third place at Châtel Mountain Style back in July, followed by a very convincing win at Kokanee Crankworx. With his recent victory at the Red Bull Rampage, he has successfully inked himself into the history books - not only is Zink the first rider ever to win Kokanee Crankworx and the Red Bull Rampage in the same season, he has locked down the FMB World Championship title as well.

Cam's season was simply beyond belief. Our man Brett Tippie caught up to him for an in depth interview Pinkbike style, and the good folks at Contour have kindly provided exclusive footage from Zink's helmet cam.

Split Stance Exercises for Faster Cornering Split Stance Exercises for Faster Cornering
One of the things I've realized is that being able to ride switch-foot is not an option, it is a must for good trail riding. Besides it being good for when you do find your feet switched for some reason on the trail it also helps to fight imbalances - you'd be amazed at how bad riding with the same foot forward all the time is for your hips and lower back. However, the most important thing in my book is how it helps you corner better.

There is something about bathing in the sultry succulence of Canada's Fall weather. My fair skinned linage, surely rooted in some form of rich Scottish heritage is inherently ill designed for weathering the desert perils of the southern North American longitudes.

Over the week I watched as the barren, shrubbed, segmented mesa's of the Utah outback, morphed into something compatible with an "Indiana Jones" set. Like stone tree rings, the sedimentary layers carrying Earth's crusty history, laid home to more than tumble weeds and rattlesnake havens, it was given a pulse. Stimulating anxiety, dilating pupils and pores, the geological blemish that is the Rampage venue, was brought teeming to life.
