Interbike 2008: New Hayes Stroker DH brakes and Su Interbike 2008: New Hayes Stroker DH brakes and Sun ADD Lite Wheelset Checked
While wandering the Outdoor Demo we spotted an oasis of shade and beer at the Hayes tent, and while under that tent we also spotted a new big-power brake from the Hayes boy's. The Stroker Ace is a Four piston brake for those of you looking for even more power. The same riders interested in the Ace's may want to check out Sun-Ringle's ADD Lite wheelet, a tough and light set of wheels that can lighten up your overweight bike!

At last year's Interbike show, Rocky Mountain unveiled their new DH platform - the Flatline. Since that time, the bike has gained quite a following from the gravity crowd and I've even seen an all new Geoff Gulevich signature model frame that will be out in a few months.

Marin bikes of Novato California lives next door to the birth place of mountain biking; Mount Tam. This is the breading grounds for 3 decades of evolution in their bikes which today has a span of 73 different bikes. The Wolf Ridge 6.8 is part of their Quad Trail series of All Mountain machines with 140mm of rear travel. We ran into Shaums March and had a chat about the Wolf Ridge 6.8 and his experience with all the Quad Link bikes from Marin.

Trek had a massive presence at the Outdoor Demo, not only with some big tents and a vending machine but also a huge number of demo bikes for the curious to try. By the looks of the lineup the 6" travel Remedy was by far the most sought after, and for good reason: the mid-travel platforms seem to be everyone's cup of tea lately. We pulled some strings and bypassed the line to get ourselves a closer look at their top end rig, the Remedy 9.
