Video: 'Ard Rock 2015 Bike Festival
On 8-9th August the ‘Ard Rock returned to Swaledale deep within the Yorkshire Dales, and transformed the sleepy village of Reeth into a buzzing festival of mountain biking. The pits were brimming with factory support from some of the best companies on the mountain bike scene, camping fields were stacked, the was atmosphere relaxed, live music was playing and beers were flowing. Well over a thousand riders signed on to challenge themselves against the brutal rocks, epic trails and newly sculptured stages on private farm and moorland.
Special congratulations go to the event winners Liam Moynihan of Canyon Bikes and Sophie Carter of Pace Cycles. Thanks and a big shout out goes to the main event sponsors, Santa Cruz Bicycles, Mavic and Sweet Protection, and of course the riders for making it a great weekend.
Last year all entries were snapped up on the hour of opening, so you might want to keep and eye on the event website and put is 6-7th August in your diary…
