More Pinkbike upgrades - new servers

The ever growing masses of users that visit Pinkbike.com (now at 2 million hits per DAY) have finally made us bite the bullet and get some heavy server iron and lots of it. What you all will find especially useful is the huge increase in bandwidth and download quotas.


Let me introduce you to the 4 pinkbike servers

Server 1 - BLUR - main server running Ripnode engine

Server 2 - V10 - Dropin and Biglines server

Server 3 - HECKLER - big pipe download server

Server 4 - VIDEO - another big pipe download server


The above provide a total bandwidth or download quota of 5.8 TeraBytes per month. Previous usage was around 1.5 TeraBytes/month







This means that ALL the dropin Episodes plus many more user videos will now be hosted on the Pinkbike servers for all riders of the World to enjoy.


As many of you know, bandwidth and download quotas is what costs the big bucks to provide.
