Ice Peep Productions is proud to bring you a Freestyle Mountain Bike competition at the Skate Barn in Renton, Washington. The competition will be held at 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 19th. The Skate Barn is an 80,000 square foot indoor park filled with tons of ramps, gaps, rails, ledges and banks. The Competition will be held in a jam format style, with riders separated into groups of 5, who will compete in 10-minute open heat sessions.

Competitors will be self-judged by riders who are not competing in the current heats and will be judged on a combination of style, flow, execution, difficulty of tricks, use of park, and the almighty crowd energy. The top riders from each heat will advance to the finals to compete for cash and prizes. The competition will be divided into separate Pro and ‘Bro’ categories and the competition will be open to all levels of riders.

Ice Peeps have been putting on private rental jam sessions, aptly called Jibbe Fests, for the past 6 months. Over that time, the events have grown to see upwards of 50+ riders showing up, including some of the top street oriented mountain bikers in the world.

The class breakdown will be separated into two categories. First, the Pro class will be an advanced to Pro open class. This class allows riders who feel they can compete at the upper level a chance to showcase their talents with the cream-of-the crop riders. There will be a healthy array of prizes for the Pro class including cash and product. Above all, this class should be seen as a resumé builder, sport promotion, and showcase. Secondly, the ‘Bro’ class will be geared towards beginner to intermediate street/park riders who will be competing for a host of prizes including tons of free swag and gift certificates. The competition will be free for spectators and there will be free giveaways!

There will be open ride times available for all
who are interested, the night before and immediately after the comp, so bring your bikes! Come be a part of the Northwest’s 1st Freestyle Mountain Bike competition. Whether to ride or watch, this will be a great opportunity to see some of the most spectacular riding action around.
