2003 Romic Top Crown Extended Review

You might recall my brief review of the new 2003 Romic crown I did a while back? If not, you can read it here.Well after 2 months of hard riding and racing, I can officially give this beautiful component the “Acadian” stamp of approval. Giving me the most precise steering and added stiffness – the Romic crown has been flawless throughout its use. Even after being victim of some of the nastiest crashes on the North Shore, the crown/stem never twisted on me once - as to give you an idea of how hard I crashed, it did cause my handlebars to bend.

So, if you are looking for a Boxxer crown, look no further. Romic’s stoke is easy to install, stiff, maintenance free, always centered and backed up by one of the best customer service around…oh and did I mention how beautiful it is? It’s like “bike jewelry”!! This past weekend I spoke with Roger from Romic at NCS#4 in Idaho, and he told me that they are currently selling like hotcakes! So don’t waste any time and get yours now!
