Jeremiah Bishop has qualified to represent the USA at the 2003 World Championships to be held in Lugano, Switzerland. Selections were made following the NORBA National Championships Series race #4 that took place July 26-July 27 at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho. There Bishop placed 5th, rounding out the men’s Pro podium, and strengthening his current ranking of 2nd in the nation. Bishop has produced a remarkable season and couldn’t have timed his rise to success to be more opportune. The year that has seen Bishop ascend to the top of national competition is also a year in which rankings have and will determine very important athlete selections for upcoming international competitions. With spots on both the Pan American Games and World Championship national teams, Bishop is on track and in an ideal position for the next great selection that will take place; that of the USA Olympic team to compete at the 2004 Games in Athens, Greece.
