So far, with great success, two separate bike camps have already been run by Giant Canada’s Eric Goss. Goss spearheaded the program along with some other cyclists while they worked in cooperation with the School System. The bike camps involve kids within the 12-16 year old age group and focus on safety, skills, fitness, technology and repairs, along with Eric handing out hundreds of Giant Bicycles stickers to all the kids. There is also a classroom power-point presentation during the beginning of the camp, but the real finale is when the kids get to ride the trails with the pro riders for the last hour of the day!

In the next few days Goss will be attending some further meetings to finalize some more winter projects he will be involved in. The next School District bike camp is set for this coming January 24 th.
