Vancouver Outdoor Show

Tim and I will be leaving Calgary tomorrow to get on the road in time to make it to Vancouver for the annual Advil Outdoor Adventure Show. It was really cool last year and we don't want to miss it. What's that? It's only Tuesday tomorrow and the show starts on Friday morning you say? Well, when you're driving a 26 year old vehicle that was retired from duty 10 years ago and will only go 15 km/h up hill you have to plan for a long drive. That's right... The Drop In bus is on the road again for the first time since Season 2 wrapped up!Come down to BC Place and check out where the Drop In Crew lives for 2 1/2 months each summer. We were going to clean it really well but since some of you are curious as to the smell we decided to leave it in normal operating condition...
-- DIRTBAG -- .

I am looking forward to the show this year in particular. Last year at this event I got to witness a sick dirt jump competition, meet up with old friends like Darren Butler, and meet new friends, including the eventual Drop In Season 2 Crew; Tyler Klassen, Chris Glew, and Steve Romaniuk. Dylan will be on hand this year again so I hear now that he's officially a Vancouverite and we hope to see as many viewers as possible.

They gave Pinkbike and Drop In the largest booth in the show this year so we decided we might as well just goose the Bus the 20+ hours over the Rocky Mountains and park her dead center in B.C. Place. Come get a tour of the bus...

We will be announcing something we've been working towards for the past 2 years very soon so come down to the show and get a demonstration of the new site feature and see what we have in store for 2004! Wish us luck (finger's crossed).

Mike
