"I am really excited to be part of the Evil Family, The bikes are state of the art and with Donahue , Nigel, Seth and the other team riders pushing the limits of progression I am sure that the Evil team is the one to be reckoned with in 05, I now have faith in my equipment which makes progression inevitable so watch out."
Dave Weagle, President and Technical Director of Evil Bikes said of Jim; “We are fired up to have Hacksaw on board with us. With such a positive attitude towards riding and life it’s no wonder that so many riders look up to him (including me). Being able to help riders like Jim out is one of the things that sponsorship is all about to Evil. About Evil Bikes:Evil Bikes was formed by a group of riders and engineers in 2000 with the intent to design and build short-run, high end hardtail and full-suspension frames. Over the last four years, the Evil name has become almost legendary with riders interested in high end hardtail play bikes. With frame designs formed by revolutionary ergonomic and structural analysis and with tireless dedication their customers, Evil has become known for industry leading concepts, innovation, quality, and support.
After two years of development, Evil Bikes introduced their revolutionary frame, the Imperial, in 2001. The Imperial helped to define its fledgling market segment, and is now considered by many to be the prototypical multi-use aggressive hardtail frame. At Interbike 2003, Evil introduced their prototype 2013i integrated gearbox street hardtail and Sovereign air-hardened steel Street/Trail frame. For 2004, Evil Bikes unveiled a revised version of the Sovereign hardtail frame and two signature frames, the D.O.C. and Imperial SL. The Imperial SL, the Seth Lolli signature frame, was the first production frame to incorporate e.thirteen components HVS dropouts, while the D.O.C., Chris Donahue’s ‘Drug Of Choice’, brings Reynolds triple butted tubing and unparalleled Evil design and quality to a price level affordable by more riders.
