On August 13 2005 Drop In
Riders Steve Romaniuk and Dylan Tremblay will be making their only Ontario appearance of the year. When I asked these guys about coming up to Collingwood for a Canadian Cancer Society fundraising demo ride, they were both stoked about the whole idea and volunteered their time to come up. I talked to Jack Peterson the owner of Little Ed’s in Collingwood and he was super stoked about hosting the event. When Blake was asked if he was interested in building the course he was amped as well to get down and dirty and design something these guys would have fun on.So the first annual Ride for Cancer will be held at Little Ed’s Bike Shop, 175 First Street Collingwood, Ontario. There will be a chip truck on site, there is an ice cream business right next door, so food will not be a problem. It will start at 11am Saturday August 13th and go till 9pm. There will be riding demos, clinics, autograph sessions and more throughout the day. Cost will be 10 dollars to watch and 15 to get down and dirty on the course. (Waiver must be signed before hand) Little Ed’s with the help of Fall line Productions (Mike and Tim) will be selling copies of Drop In seasons 1-3 and team dirt bag long sleeve and short sleeve tee shirts. This stuff will be priced to sell, limited quantities, and the profit from sales will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. Net proceeds of ticket sales will also be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society as well. So get down here on August 13th and support a good cause and have a great time doing it!!!!!!!
I want to thank all the Volunteers who have helped build the course or helped in making this event what it will be.
Little Ed’s is located at 175 First Street Collingwood Ontario (705) 444-5488
