CHASE X 2: But can he get it airborne?

Chase Tandem: The making of.

When it comes to one-off custom bike designs and graphic kits no one does it better than Cannondale Bicycles. Recently, Aaron Chase was married to his long time girlfriend Kara Lowell. To celebrate their union, Aaron and Kara's friends at Cannondale did their part to keep the newly formed union rolling on two wheels.With full white and black Chase graphics kit and free-ride tandem'ing appropriate spec, a new breed of bicycle was born.

There are no less than 3 bash rings, platform pedals, Maxxis Holy Rollers tires, and a bar spin compatible cockpit all making up one of most unique and fun tandems on the planet.

This may sound like it was tough to make, however with a little bit of organization from sports marketing a few clicks of the mouse from the graphics department and about a day of assembly from our talented shop rat, Nine Finger Joey, it was complete.

It was pure coincidence that Aaron was headed up to Bethel to work on his 2007 chase bike graphics the day after the bike was completed, so we took the opportunity to unveil it to him. Needless to say he was stoked, and there has already been some talk of getting it airborne!


"I'd like to thank everybody at Cannondale that helped with the bike. It was such a sick surprise! Good thing I drove my truck up here so I can get it home tonight. Now I just need to convince Kara to get on it!" Said Aaron. “The Mr./Mrs. CHASE tandem is the best thing we have ever seen.
