New Balfa DH bike

Yes, it's a CCM! No just kidding. Balfa announced today the sale of its shares to the Procycle group, a Saint-Georges company specialized in bicycle manufacturing. Procycle, the largest Canadian cycling manufacturer, employs more than 600 people.
The association with the Procycle will give new means for Cycles Balfa to expand and grow. This association will also enable them to continue their activities autonomously in their Montreal shop. Cycles Balfa , one of the best-known in the mountain bike industry, will pursue the making of up-market frames.

We will be able to maintain and improve the quality of our products and the service we provide while preserving the family spirit that has made the reputation of our brand", says Frédéric Monast, General Manager and founding member.


Furthermore, Procycle says they are happy to provide the resources to support Cycles Balfa's growth while maintaining its autonomy and independence from the Procycle family. The management of Cycles Balfa will continue to be held by the three founders.
