With the release of his new film
'Deathgrip' and the Fort William World Cup coming up this weekend we're giving you the chance to ask Brendog anything about, well anything. He'll be live on Facebook to answer your questions so get them ready and tune in on Facebook later today. Have any burning questions for Brendog? Tune in from 5:00 PM BST, as Brendan Fairclough will be
live on the
Pinkbike Facebook page to answer all of your questions.
How ‘Ask Me Anything' Works: Starting at
17:00 PM BST Brendan will begin to answer your questions below this article. Join us
live on Facebook as he has a crack at answering them. Everyone who posts a question, large or small, will be taken seriously. To make the process as efficient as possible, try to follow these simple guidelines:
•
Keep your questions relevant. •
Stay focused. Try to keep your questions on one topic if possible. You can always ask about another item later.
• Try to keep your questions to about
100 words.
•
Ask Us Anything is a service to PB readers who are seeking helpful information, not a forum to broadcast opinions or grievances. If you do have a negative issue that you want to ask about, no worries, just keep your complaints relevant and in the context of a question so that it can be addressed in a productive manner.
•
Use propping to acknowledge good—or not so good—questions. Bump them up or down to where they belong.
Mark your calendars—the conversation starts at 17:00 PM UK Time. Other time zones: • 12:00 PM EDT (New York)
• 9:00 AM PDT (Squamish, BC)
• 18:00 PM CEST (Paris)
• 18:00 PM SAST (Cape Town)
• 2:00 AM AEST (Sydney, Aus)

All the best for the future and good luck this season!
That's why some brands prefer to invest on big names with a huge image though zero chance to win than try to get a good contender with no specific image. Impact is assured in the first case. In the second case, only if he wins, and as far as I remember, there's only one winner in the end.
Do you want to just let the PB community answer your questions for you? You know, since they're already doing it.
What's it like living the dream and if you weren't a pro rider what type of career do you think you'd be doing now?
DEATHGRIP IN 4K WAS SO DAMN RAD!!!
seeing that and riding there myself 1 week ago (and a lot the last 3 years), it's unreal how you guys flow on those gnarly trails, absolutely loved the atmosphere and the stoke!
What do you think needs to be done to bring tracks like this ( true rough/on the edge gnarly like champery, Meribel, Maribor and so on) back to the circuit?
Besides the obvious UCI hurdles. Especially seeing that the bikepark #notschladming is even less techy this year than ever before..
Loved the movie, congratulations on that project and making everyone get on their bikes asap!
Thanks man, good luck on Sunday. I'd love to see you win and hear Claudio lose it in the booth
Cheers!

I've watched deathgrip 3 times already and I'd say its the best riding I've ever seen you do. I'd also argue that back in the specialized days when you and sam were on the red/black demos before the redesign, you were saucin the hardest then... so in your personal opinion, when was the pinnacle of steeze/ bold hucking. Or do you see yourself just getting more and more creative on a bike?
What helps you keep motivated to push yourself?
Any struggles or barriers that you have had to succumb?
Also, how do you distribute your time spent in the gym, on the road bike and on the big bike throughout a typical training week?
Thanks
Tone: 4sets 25reps (whatever weight it might be)
Strength: 4sets 15-25reps
Bulk: 2-4sets and either 8-10reps.
Going to failure is ok, but it will make your muscles tired and just drain you.
Gym depends on what you are doing in your routine. Each day should be a different routine and maybe take 1hr-2.5hrs. Anymore time (in my eyes) is just too much and you may as well live there to A) try and pick up ladies or B) become a body builder.
Time on the bikes would just be ride what you feel maybe? You want to work on endurance and conditioning...then road bike, want to work on flow and movement, go either big bike or urban/skate park riding.
does it suck to answer questions like, can.you show.me.how to whip or how much can you lift on a benchpress?
just keep riding as you always do. thats good enogh for me.
all the best for the ongoing season and for anything you plan in the future. ride on sir, ride on.
Question: Why do you ride a BMW with the ungainly flat-twin when the mighty Norton Commando V-Twin is native to the Isles?
P.S. I don't really care - just wanted to say howdy and that's all I could think of.
Good luck in Fort William, send Nac-Nac for sick photo
I mean "Bear Claw!" How cool is that.
What do you get from Fairclough?
But in all seriousness, you rock, keep it up.
/throws smoke bomb at ground and rides off into the night
