Please go back to regular GoPro footage. The 360 force perspective made me nauseous.

I liked it? Maybe it's just me

same - had to look away every time it moved from the forward POV

It is a gimmicky feature. Cant stand it myself.

It's like Super Mario Galaxy III.

This is what I like about Rachel (or probably all Athertons). Sure she's an amazing racer but she just seems just as excited having all these people ride with her as they are riding with such a positive champ.

I always look forward to watching the POV of the Foxhunt but the fish eye view or whatever it is called was hard to watch. Still amazes me how fast the pros are either way though.

Yes, the pros are fast, but I guarantee you that those girls would ride waaaay faster if some of the guys I know were chasing them down instead of Rachel.

Rachel is such a bad ass and a fantastic ambassador for MTB.

She passed a crazy amount of ladies in the first 45 seconds. Then it started to feel like "woo hoo" translated to "really don't flex on me"

Excellent. What an ambassador for the sport she is. That awful gopro footage though, fusion is it?. Please put it in the bin.

Great job Ms. Atherton! Truly a looked like a fun, wonderful effort towards paying it forward! The sport and your sponsor is lucky to have such incredible ambassador. All the best to you.
Deep thoughts from a shallow mind. :-)

 Stoke.. I hate that word
  • 17 3
maybe find a different sport like ping pong, heard there is much less stoke
  • 6 1
Stoke.. never feels right describing how much I'm enjoying riding through using the name of a town.

I think the phrase comes from the fact Lemmy was born in Stoke-on-Trent.
Undeniably cool. R.I.P. big man.

Either that or pottery was considered an extreme sport?

Agreed... it’s even more annoying when your kids start saying it
  • 2 1
Agree. That's why I don't watch these Atherton videos anymore, haven't done for years. It's all Stoked, Super Stoked and Rad. However, I always read the comments section as I find that part entertaining.

This must he the cleanest MTB mass dh start from history... Well played madames!

But what we all really want to know is... Who are the Athertons riding for next year? @athertonracing

No Trek Factory Racing in them hashtags or Insta profiles....

The title confuses me. Was the stoke level really high or was everyone just really excited for some sunglasses and goggles?
  • 1 0
They've changed it. URL still the same though

 woo hooo

How come we don’t have this kind of event here in Washington state lol
  • 1 1
Are you serious? Because some equestrian would throw a fit or DNR would say it wasn’t safe.

Come to Ireland where there are 550 racing down the track this weekend with Gee, Loic, and Colin

@Noypirider in Washington State we have the largest women's enduro race in the US (the Sturdy Dirty Enduro) where we have 200 women racing at Tiger Mountain. Additionally in the PNW have the world's ONLY women's enduro race series, so while we don't have a fox hunt we do have some pretty amazing things going on here at home.

I doubt if I'll be seeing the likes of that here in SoCal. Great fun.
