PRESS RELEASE: Enduro Gradec 2018

Austrian Championships, the only Austrian stop of the Central European Enduro series, has a new course, new event center and the status of an Enduro World Series qualifier event: The Enduro Gradec near Graz on June 23rd & 24th will be a real enduro highlights fireworks - just one week before and two hours away from the EWS round at Petzen.

Without exaggeration, the Enduro Gradec 2018 will unify some true highlights in one event. The organizers have left no stone untouched for the third edition and will take the race to the next level. Even some top guns of the Enduro World Series are to be expected to rock the legendary Schöckl mountain.

Championships and much more

Enduro Gradec is packed with highlights. The best mountain bikers of the country will gather for the Austrian Championships. Last year Markus Pekoll and Petra Bernhard made their experience count and took home the titles. For this year, the young guns are more than prepared for a new battle. Numerous international starters will line up as it is the only Austrian stop of the Central European Enduro series. And with the Enduro World Series Qualifier status and the race taking place only one week before the EWS event at Petzen, chances are good we will see some of the EWS top stars in Graz too.


All new

Racing was hard, fast and exciting already in the last years at the Enduro Gradec. For 2018, the organising trio - Radlager mountain biking club, bike shop Lemur Bike & Bones and the Austrian mountain bike magazine LINES - have picked a new venue. The event center is moving to the Laesserhof at Stattegg near Graz. Infrastructure is now perfect and it opens up the possibility to have stages from the very top of Schöckl mountain all the way down to the village of Stattegg. Guests and party people will be welcomed already on Friday evening with celebrations at Laesserhof and on race day, specators will be provided with a plan including fan spots and times to experience the best action live.
